2014 is the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of WW1. The museum is currently working on a number of projects to mark this important event and we need your help. We are trying to trace the relatives of a number of men and women from Bishop’s Stortford who were on active service during the war.   Colin and Roy, our expert volunteer collection assitants in the Local History section of our off-site store, came across a fantastic group of wills, dating from the 1700’s.
