Absolutely amazing! Saw this afternoon’s performance and am definitely booking to see again! ANOTHER season of live midweek music is set to begin at Rhodes. After a successful summer at the Bishop’s Stortford venue, the relaxing sounds of acoustic jazz will return this autumn. Starting the season off in style will be Duo D’Or.  This guitar duo interprets tunes from the 1920s to the 60s in a jazzy style reminiscent of Django Reinhardt.  Following on from Duo D’Or is the Ruocco Lane Quartet, featuring Roisin Quinn, with a repertoire of tuneful jazz standards – and a few funky songs thrown in for good measure. When an accident occurred in the gallery which led to one of our beaded African necklaces becoming broken, Sophie offered to take it on as one of her university projects.
