The Rhodes Arts Complex is firmly committed to enabling all our customers to participate in our events equally and with dignity and respect. We aim to be accessible to all, offering a varied programme of events and exhibitions and providing special facilities to meet the needs of our customers.
Guide Dogs: Hearing Dogs & Guide Dogs are welcome
Each area within the Complex is accessible for people using Wheelchairs. The Complex has a lift for access to the first floor and Bishop’s Stortford Museum.
Access to the TheatreCustomers who require particular seating arrangements in order to accommodate difficulties they may have in attending performances should contact the Box Office.
There are four wheel chair positions within the main auditorium should you require one of these please advise the Box Office Staff.
The Rhodes Arts Complex has two disabled toilets.
All our toilets have emergency call systems installed to provide our customers reassurance.
Each toilet allows for individuals with right hand and left-handed impairments.
Car parking for people with disabilities (two spaces) is available within the Rhodes Arts Complex car park, during busy periods we advise customers to arrive early to ensure a space as the car park does fill up quickly.
Theatre - To enhance sound for the hearing impaired, an Infrared audio enhancement system is available. Infrared headphone receivers are available although the system will operate with hearing aids set to "T".
