The Eastern Region Textile Forum

We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome back The Eastern Region Textile Forum to the Rhodes Gallery for their 4th biennial selected Textile Art exhibition.

The intriguing theme of ‘Order and Chaos’  has been the subject of much discussion within the group and the resulting textile art work promises to be exciting and wide ranging in traditional and contemporary skills and techniques. The work for the exhibition will be selected by internationally acclaimed weaver Heidi Lichterman.

The exhibition is open from Saturday 2nd April until Friday 29th April 2016

Fen Edge Textile

Cambridgeshire-based Fen Edge Textiles will be holding exhibition at Rhodes Gallery in May 2016.
17 members of the group will look to inspire more people to take up the art.

Fen Edge Textiles was formed in September 2002 and meets eight Saturdays a year at Cottenham Village College. Sessions are run by textile artist and tutor Pauline Verrinder, of Cottenham.

Textile artists go through a selection process to gain membership. It currently has 17 members, most of whom are from East Anglia, but one member comes from Farnham, Surrey.

The group aims to raise the profile of textile art by sharing and encouraging the personal development of its members’ work.
