Audience reviews for Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood 2011

“My family and I absolutely loved the pantomime, the best one we have seen to date!”

“Congratulations on Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood – it was AMAZING! I have never seen a better pantomime in my life!”

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Rhodes Pantomime is Cinderella – the most magical story of all and probably everyone’s favourite!!  Once again you can expect the usual fun and frolics that our pantomime has become renowned for, along with plenty of magic – mice, pumpkins, glass slippers – you name it we’ve got it.  And of course there will be two hilarious ugly sisters, as well as a beautiful Cinderella and handsome Prince Charming.

Cinderella will once again be produced by Phil Dale, Rhodes Arts Programmer and Director of Phoenix Theatre School.

“Our first two pantos are probably more popular with boys so I am looking forward to bringing the magic of the greatest fairy story of all time to Rhodes” says Phil, “Of course we’ll have all the elements you’ll expect such as a beautiful Cinderella, two Ugly Sisters and a handsome Prince. However, as always there will be some surprises.  The transformation of the mice and the pumpkin into a coach and horses is always something to look forward to.”
