Description

Intermediate Drama classes build on the Primary skills and begin to look in more detail at how drama is structured, how to approach text and how to build and explore character further. Students continue to develop their ensemble skills and are encouraged to challenge themselves more. The classes continue to work on improving speech, movement and posture as we believe this is of enormous benefit to the students in their everyday lives. In Bishops Stortford the class is taken by Phil Dale.

In order to succeed in this industry, not only do young people need to develop the necessary skills but they also need opportunities to use those skills and express themselves via performance. We offer more performance opportunities than any other school in the region; whether it is our annual drama showcase or our annual musical theatre showcase; and the full scale musicals and pantomimes that are produced by Phoenix Theatre Arts, the production wing of the company. A great archive of pictures from past events can be found on our Facebook page.

Visit our website for details on classes and how to register.
