VOLUNTEERING

at the

Bishop's Stortford Museum

It is true to say that the museum relies heavily on support from our volunteers. We appreciate everything they do, and especially the time and commitment they give to us.
Why Volunteer?
How to Apply

Volunteering at the Bishop's Stortford Museum is a great way to experience a variety of opportunities and to learn something new everyday.

Our volunteers are based not just in the museum itself, but also in our off-site stores, cataloging and archiving objects in the collection, as well as helping with our regular children's workshops and assisting with the installation of new exhibitions in the Thorleybourne Gallery.

What ever you enjoy doing, we are bound to have something for you! We hold regular volunteer meetings, a great opportunity to socialise with other volunteers, to ask the staff questions and to keep updated on the events at Rhodes.

If you would be interested in volunteering for us:
