Museum Volunteers

Volunteering at the Bishop's Stortford Museum is a great way to experience a variety of opportunities and to learn something new every day. As a museum volunteer you could get involved with any of the following activities:

  • Cataloguing and archiving objects in the museum collection
  • Assisting in research for museum projects
  • Helping with children’s workshops (CRB check will be required)
  • Assisting with the installation of new exhibitions in the Thorleybourne Gallery

Ushers

We are always keen to hear from people who would like to join our dedicated team of ushers. Full training is provided and you will be rewarded with tickets to Rhodes Arts Complex performances and other benefits. The level of commitment you make is up to you – you can usher weekly, monthly or less often if you prefer. All we ask is that you bring a smile with you!
